Page One - Short review and final conclusion of mine about CS:GO Page Two - Detailed Video review (Maps, Guns and Recoil, Spamming etc.) by JACKFRAGS Page Three - Some Screenshots from the game When VALVE announced release of those new product Counter-Strike: Global Offensive in august 12th 2011, on many popular CS portals many began to shout, sigh, groan and exclaim, "finally came our savior, which will replace the already obsolete and outdated CS 1.6". But after first couple weeks of closed beta test in December, half of that many said - " By the way, and if we started talking about the announcement of the new part, we can not forget about our friends - console players. Valve announced that Counter-Strike: Global Offensive would be cross platform, and will be released on consoles as well. And IMHO this is the first not very good news, for us, "PC guys". The idea, of course, is clear: to gather from the poor gamers as much money, and even on different platforms. But the fact that the console adversely affect the quality of PC games - that's a fact. This is not the e-sports, it's just some pampering. I will not review the maps, weapons, graphics or gameplay and so on, coz there is amazing video review made by JACKFRAGS, which I recommend U to watch. I just wanna make some final conclusion about this game, after beta test. • If with the PC everything is clear, then I don't understand why to console players need average, nothing outstanding shooter, without any planes, helicopters, tanks, explosions and Hollywood proportions. They have plenty to choose from, and what to spend your valuable time. And we need a computer sport, spectacle, and the interest of professional players and sponsors in this game. At least, even on the PC, not to mention the consoles, there are Battlefield 3 and Modern Warfare 3. And Valve, with all his desire wouldn't be able to tear off part of the audience for these shooters. • Anyhow, I dare not make any predictions, based on a couple of beta test weeks. A lot of players says unflattering about CS: GO, however in foreign community's, many players is optimistic about the future of this game. • Also do not forget that Valve are able to correct their deficiencies pretty quick, and they prove it, by releasing the first patch which fixed, not all but most of the problems, in 3 days after beta start. Anyhow if someway VALVE, wouldn't attract players to CS:GO, for some reasons, IMHO, they will graft players to Global Offensive, (especially pro-players) with a big prize tournaments, as they done already with Dota 2. A crisp green notes vs. no arguing, and players will have, whether they like it or not, go to the new version of the legendary online shooter. Yes, most likely, the way it is. Also for those who didn't get keys for CS:GO closed beta, don't be upset, because on official VALVE Twitter, was post that in early the New Year holidays would be the second wave of scheduled open beta testing of CS:GO, which this time will be able to participate virtually anyone without any switches, and personal invitations. The developers were satisfied with the stress test, which was attended by 10.000 owners cherished the keys: the majority of the press and professional players. So now the opportunity to try CS: GO appears at every mere mortal. Well, after the second wave of testing, we think, be followed by a final yield of the game on store shelves, which is quite a logical decision. |
